What is THC and CBD

Cannabis is composed of many active components. The components that we focus on, that are most beneficial to us are:

Delta (9) THC or tetrahydrocannabinol –which is the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis. This is what gives you the “head” high feeling you experience when using cannabis.

CBD – cannabidiol – is the second most well-known compound found in cannabis. CBD does not have the same psychoactive nature that comes from THC but CBD still provides relief from pain, relieves anxiety, and epileptic seizures.

CBC – cannabichromene – the third most commonly found of the cannabinoids in marijuana. Some strains have more CBC than CBD. CBC is non-psychoactive. It is having anti-inflammatory and anti-depressant properties.

CBN – cannabinol – occurs when the dried flower has degraded a bit. THC breaks down over time and it changes to. CBN helps with appetite, has antibiotic, and some anti-asthmatic properties as well.

THC-V – tetrahydrocannabivarin – this works with THC. Studies have shown that THC-V has only 20% of the psychoactivity of THC. Thc v is also a bone stimulant
